A waterspout that came within 50 yards of my condo in Ormond Beach, FL a few years ago.
A tutorial I went through today in photoshop. Really helped with lighting, dodge and burn tools. Taken from 3 separate images. A lot of selection practice with cutting the figure out and the sky from their original image.
Just practicin’. Lots of little things going on. Color correction on the water/waves with dodge and burn tools. Added Sand texture with added perspective. Dodged the dunes on the sand. Lens Flare. Extra White low opacity sunray using a gradient and altered perspective to help brighten up what I wanted to be bright. Fixed a few off-color spots in the sky. Very minor fixes and not all are easy to pick out. I wish I had the original photo in hi-res. It was taken with my iphone 3g (blah) a few years ago and I stumbled upon it today and felt like practicing with photoshop.
